My love of photography began with music and going to see my favourite bands in concert over the years. What started as a hobby grew with each gig, and with every click of the shutter. From borrowing my mother's basic point & shoot film camera in 1997, snapping pictures of stage from miles away in a stadium, through shooting in crushed crowds, to the luxury of a photo pit and on occasion, the stage, I've covered nearly all angles.
In recent years I've added some focus on portraits and photoshoots with musicians. Through working with GoldenPlec I have expanded on my contributions to include some video work and written features. I developed the Weapons of Choice feature, in which I interview & photograph bands about their musical equipment, how they learned to play and their songwriting. Links to these features will be posted on the blog link above.
